Bolt is Rescue Dog “Zero”
Founder Greg Malson found himself navigating a dark and difficult time in life… then Bolt appeared, quite literally.
Rescuers were having trouble catching this elusive yellow dog they called "Bolt" by a highway, but when Greg stopped to help, Bolt came right to Greg. Stopping to help Bolt was a turning point for Greg, leading him out of the darkness and directly into a calling to get involved and do more for animals in need.
Greg didn't rescue Bolt, Bolt rescued Greg.

FRIENDS OF BOLT’S RESCUE is a charitable organization which provides fund-raising support and coordination with rescues dedicated to alleviating the suffering of abused and abandoned animals. Providing temporary boarding, fostering, transportation to rescue or adoption, veterinary care, and other support services, Friends of Bolt’s Rescue aims to comprehensively fulfill the needs of these animals.
